Antique Korean Joseon Dynasty Brush Painted Storage Jar
C. 1800–1890 | Cobalt Underglaze | Authentic Kiln Fired

This beautiful hand-thrown Korean jar dates to the late Joseon Dynasty (19th century) and features classic freeform cobalt brushwork, a hallmark of utilitarian storage jars of the period. The brushed symbol on the underside is an authentic workshop brush mark, applied before glazing and firing—typical of Korean kilns of this era.

Features
• Hand-thrown porcelain/stoneware body
• Cobalt underglaze calligraphic brush strokes
• Natural kiln ash deposits around the shoulder
• Heavy surface crazing appropriate for 19th-century Korean ware
• Original firing imperfections, pinholes, and glaze pooling
• Genuine antique, not a reproduction
• From an estate collection (old antique shop label still attached)

Measurements
• Height: 6 in
• Width (widest point): 6 in
• Mouth opening: 2.5 in
• Base diameter: approx. 4 in
